Biden says it’s ‘not likely’ he will visit Ukraine on Europe trip

President Joe Biden said Monday he is “not likely” to visit Ukraine when he travels to Europe for the Team of 7 summit and a meeting of NATO leaders afterwards on this 7 days.

The President explained to reporters a quit in Ukraine is “not likely” on the upcoming journey, which will include things like stops in Germany and Spain. Biden claimed he does not want to “cause more problems for Ukrainians” by introducing a stop.

On Saturday, Biden will journey to Schloss Elmau in southern Germany to attend the G7 Leaders’ Summit, a conference that is predicted to involve a emphasis on Russia’s ongoing war on Ukraine. Ukrainian leaders – which includes the nation’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky – have called on Biden to visit their country considering the fact that the spring.

So much, Biden has not crossed into Ukraine, but he has visited neighboring Poland.
